Maintenance: low. A gloss every 8 to 10 weeks keeps it from going flat or muddy.

2. Cool-Toned Blonde, Lower Contrast

Fall blonde in 2026 is not platinum. It is a lived-in, cool beige blonde with a deliberately deeper root and much less contrast than a summer balayage.

Who it suits: clients who went bright by August and want to stretch their next full appointment. We can root-tap and gloss you into a fall-appropriate blonde in a single session without a full lightening service.

Maintenance: moderate. Purple-toning shampoo once a week, gloss between color services.

3. Real Copper

Copper has not gone anywhere, and fall is its best season. In 2026 we are seeing it requested less as a full-head fashion color and more as a copper gloss over natural or previously highlighted hair — warmer, subtler, and far less commitment.

Who it suits: warm and neutral skin tones, and anyone whose natural base already has red in it. Copper over a naturally warm base fades beautifully instead of turning brassy.

Maintenance: high. Copper is the fastest-fading color family there is. Cool water, color-safe shampoo, and a refresh gloss every 6 to 8 weeks.

4. Lived-In Balayage With a Deeper Base
